News Release J.H. Chapman Group, L.L.C. Assists Osem Food Group's Acquisition of Tribe Mediterranean Foods Chicago, IL (October 2, 2008) – J.H. Chapman Group, L.L.C. announced today that its client Osem Group has acquired Tribe Mediterranean Foods. The Osem Food Group, one of Israel’s largest food companies, through its subsidiary Tivall (1993) Ltd., (which owns Israel’s leading Mediterranean salad business through Salatey Tsabar) has acquired the assets and business of Massachusetts based Tribe Mediterranean Foods, LLC. Tribe’s operations in North America will be incorporated into Osem’s Prepared Food division, headed by Omri Lotan.
